is my dissertation on DIY graphic practices within queer communities. My research examines how these practices foster empowerment and how digital tools expand or transform them.
By analyzing tool reappropriation, critical design, fanzine culture and creative tinkering of digital techno- logies, I explore how DIY shifts from individual liberation to collective action (Do It Together). Finally, I highlight the potential of collective graphic design to strengthen community bonds and the role of digital archives in preserving memories that become not only personal, but
collectively shared.
